Large Marble Tiles, two trends in one for 2018

New year, new home? Now is the perfect chance to reassess and make a change, while packing away Christmas decorations, putting away presents and getting a head start on your spring cleaning. We’ve rounded up the top trends for 2018 for you to incorporate in your home, and with our big winter sale on – there’s no excuse not to go for it!
Colours
Moody and muted colour palettes are top this year. Rich, deep gem tones like violet, ruby, indigo and emerald create atmosphere and suit all eras of home. At the other end of the scale, pastels are back again, but this time with a dusky edge. Lilacs, peaches, and yellows are set to take over from the overwhelming popularity of millennial pink.
Kitchens
Minimalism has fallen out of favour, and so have white gloss kitchens. Now it’s all about mixing up natural materials like wood, marble, stone. Patterned marble for countertops and floors is set to be big this year, with organic patterns popular across styles.
Bathrooms
Brass fixtures are back in fashion after being a total faux pas since the late 90s. Stainless steel and chrome have become the norm so be bold and go for gold and brass. Gold is the new copper as the go-to metallic tone this year, and is a timeless classic.
Tiles
Herringbone is taking over from its cousin Chevron, and is set to be popular for both floors and walls. The timeless pattern is a great choice for kitchens, bathrooms and hallways and looks great in stone, porcelain and wood.
Subway tiles continue to be popular, although there is a shift toward larger format times and slab sized porcelain sheets. Bigger tiles look sleek and modern, but are also a functional choice: with less grout and both easier to install and maintain than small options.
